Holy shit. Jonathan Brandis, star of such magnificent things as SeaQuest and Sidekicks, committed suicide. That's just crazy. I always used to watch Sidekicks on HBO in the middle of the day, and SeaQuest was one of the coolest shows at its time. Damn.

This is me (Xserdf) and my Final Fantasy XI buddy (also know as the person who hosts this weblog). I wish I had a close-up picture of his character...it's so friggin' cute. Anyways...I took this pic just after he ran half-way across the La Thiene Plateau (big place) being chased by an Orc. Luckily he lost it and survived to have his photo taken with me. Today, however, I accidentally killed him by sending him into a cave I thought was something it wasn't. Needless to say I watched his HP go from 110 to 0 in .004sec.

I'm not an addict, baby.

Final Fantasy MMCXII

So...some of you may have heard of a little game series called "Final Fantasy." Well, the lastest one (FFXI) has me gripped firmly by the balls. It's an MMORPG (ala Everquest, etc) that is so addicting it literally hurts not to play. Earlier, I found myself in the grocery store looking at various foodstuffs wondering how much "Gil" they cost, and at what level I would be able to equip a new shopping cart.

It comes with a handy little menu feature called "Total Playtime." So far the thing reads "1 day, 14 hours, 40 minutes and 33 seconds." That's playtime mind you, not since i first logged in. I've had the game for less than a week.

If you're bored...or want to fail classes or lose your job -- try it out.
