Pixie...er...Cancer Stix!
So I was bored tonight. I figured I'd try and addict myself to cigarettes.
First I headed to the gas station and firmly stated that I'd like a "pack of Camels." I was confronted with "soft or hard pack?" Not knowing wtf that meant, I chose soft. Then I headed home. Here is the pretty R.J. Reynolds Camel -- he's so proud:
When I got home, I put on my leather jacket, whipped out my zippo and headed down the street listening to Nine Inch Nails. (I needed to rage to see if the nicotine could calm me). So 2 cigarettes and a head of smelly hair later I am completely unimpressed. How does someone START smoking? It didn't suck or anything...but I got nothing from it. I felt nothing. I came home and had a sip of Rolling Rock and that did more for me. People must really be reaching for something to start smoking.
Anyways...since I didn't succeed in getting addicted I figured it was time to smoke the rest of the pack:
And then, since my room was slowly filling with smoke, and carbon minoxide poisoning is not favorable, I doused the flamez:
What a waste of $4. Christ.

I can tell you that this morning I have a raging headache that for some reason lessens everytime I think of a cigarette...but I'm not actually stupid enough to cave into that.
I'm to egotistical to let myself be controlled by a stick of tar & tobacco -- you should know that. ;) To be addicted to something would be a lack of control...and I can't stand that.
